Sadey's cake

I attempted to make a castle cake for my youngest daughter's 5th birthday. It was a huge undertaking for one night, especially considering I had worked all day at the shipyard. At this point, I was midway through the Wilton 2 class.

Here is a close-up of some of the border-work.

This is the front view. I had intended to do more detail work to cover the plastic turrets...it just didn't happen before the sun came up. She loved the cake anyway :)
